Recipe of the Day: Garlic Bread

I made this last night. My mother-in-law after going out for Chinese, come home at 11 and ate the left overs out of the refrigerator.

Garlic Bread
1 stick butter (more or less)
3 - 5 cloves garlic, finely diced
Italian Seasoning
Salt and Pepper
1 loaf bread
cheese, optional

Melt the better, then add the garlic seasoning, salt and pepper. You can add hot peppers if desired. Cook over low heat until the garlic softens.

Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. (I had two smaller loaves, but the idea is the same.) Brush both side with the melted butter. You can also let the mixture mixture cool and spread with a knife.

Top with grated cheese. I used Parm, though it is also good with mozzarella.

Replace the top, and slice the bread into individual portions. Then wrap in foil. Bake in 400 deg oven, for about 20 minutes until the cheese has melted.
